Launchpad

, Ubuntus proprietary (!) bug tracker has received a facelift.

I’m deliberately calling it a facelift, because I still don’t understand it. It sure is a lot prettier than Debians bug tracking, and it likely has some really nifty features, too, but I’m totally lacking the basics:

Have a look at this bug for example. It’s about the Intel ipw3945 driver being unstable on systems with SMP and load when using WPA2 encrypted networks.

Launchpad says “fix committed” for linux-source-2.6.17, but I still havn’t found out in which revision of that package. Or how I could actually find out how they fixed the bug. Or how I could access that information.

Nor have I found any way to access changelogs for the packages.
