Do you know any way to find out the background color of a terminal? I usually prefer having black-on-white terminals (because you can read them even when the sun shines directly into your tft. I can’t do that with white-on-black), but many others use that. So when i access such a shared account - for example a root account on a box i administrate, which i sometimes use locally on the console in white-on-black, too - how do i tell vim which colorscheme to use? I’m a bit tired of typing “:set bg=light” every time i edit a file.
